Boneshaker Race Weekend
April 9, 2011 is the date for the annual Boneshaker HO slot car race event, hosted by Mark Frazin and his fabulous Boneshaker Speedway and co-hosted and sanctioned by the Western Pennsylvania Slot Car Club. The Boneshaker is a challenging six lane Fray style track built in California by Scott Dunlap.
The 2011 event will feature super stock T-jets using ECHORR/FRAY rules. The following provisions will be allowed: No minimum tire height required and BSRT Silver and Gold #504 pickup shoes.
Friday, April 8, 2011 6-10 PM, open practice and technical clinic sessions
Saturday, April 9, 2011 9:30-11:45 AM open practice Noon featured race event Super Stock T-jets (VHORS or Fray) Evening support race Trans Am Mustang G-Jets
Mark is located north of Pittsburgh in Mars, PA not far from the confluence of I-79 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The Route 228 Corridor between the highways and Mark’s place features a number of hotels and restaurants and plenty of shopping opportunities.
The individual entrance fee for the event will be $20 and will include all practice sessions and race events, food and beverages Friday evening and all day Saturday, and box plates for all participants and the podium finishers. A number of vendors will be on hand with racing parts, tools and car bodies. Registration will be limited to 40 racers so please reserve your entry early!
